Oops. Some of you may have noticed Donna's birthday page was up two days in a row. I forgot to change it! Didn't occur to me until about 4:30, so I decided to just let it ride. Won't happen again! Unless it happens again. :-)

Samantha, we were thrilled when you told us the news the other day. However, Mark, ...you said you were going to ask me for my daughter's hand in marriage before you asked Samantha the big question...but nooooooooo!!!!! LOL! Anyway, sincere congratulations to both of you and I don't know who are the happiest, you guys or me and mom. Probably you guys which makes more sense. We love you both and will see you soon. Love, Dad & Mom

Hey! So on March 9th Mark and I got engaged! Here are the photos!

Congratulations, you two! Nice that you could rent Disneyworld and clear out all the tourists for the occasion! :-) --Gary

Teghan, I really enjoyed our 'special' concert Tues night! You are a really good sax player. Congratulations on winning the Oscar too!!

Here's the Oscar, now in Teghan's room. Thanks for the photo, Amanda! --Gary

STOP the presses! When putting together the re-cap of the Oscar race this morning, I discovered I made a tallying error on Oscar night. Turns out it was a tie between me and Samantha! Sorry for slighting your performance, Sam! So this year's winners were Samantha and Gary and Teghan. Go here for the final scores.

Wow, close race for the Oscar trophy this year! Fun for those of us who were keeping score -- and for those of us who won. :-) Congratulations to my co-winner Teghan! Complete results will be posted here soon.

Wish we could be at Grandma's Governors Ball, the Taro Root Tacos sound delicious! ;) Jack and I have our ballots ready to watch from SC, we're feeling good about our choices this year! Good luck to everyone else!

And good luck to you both. Hope your scores are almost as high as mine! --Gary

Snow is coming down, have about 2 inches already and it is to snow all day. Ran my errands last night and plan to stay in all weekend.
Erika is home for "spring" break all week.
She had a tough time last week, fell down a flight of stairs.
She is bruised but not hurt, her computer wasn't so lucky.
Then a couple of days later she got an eye infection and needed to get some meds from the doctor.
Brent has also had some rough days these past two weeks, took him to ER last week. Had a flare up with his crohns, got six new meds. He is having some side effects from a couple of them. Hasn't been feeling too well.
Gary I love the picture on the front page today, made me laugh. We got the ballots, and will be watching at least some of the Oscars, it is a school night for me.
School has been busy, ITBS all last week and now Lutheran Schools Week.
Something crazy going on everyday this week. I dread Tuesday, teacher switch day. Lord knows what will happen then.......

No snow here (yet), supposed to start around noon. But I would be happy if it missed us altogether. Erika, watch those stairs -- I know. Buy yourself a treat to cheer yourself up; always works for me! --Gary
